Throughout his multi-faceted career as a conductor, beginning with his work in Lviv, and continuing in Germany and Canada, Wasyl Kardash has left an important musical and cultural mark. From 1949, Mr. Kardash has conducted numerous church and youth choirs and orchestras throughout Canada. Wherever he worked, he left a legacy of excellence in performance and instilled a feeling of love and respect for Ukrainian music as well as history in his ensemble and choir members.
