I Love Egging - Deluxe Pysanky Kit

Once you learn how to write Pysanky (Ukrainian Easter Eggs) a whole new world of art, meditation, prayer and expression opens up for you. You know you've reached this level when you find yourself excited to write more than just a couple Pysanky and can't wait to try new designs and colours.

The "I Love Egging Pysanky Kit" from Ukrainian EggCessories gives you the tools to explore 13 different colour dyes and play around with different thicknesses of wax lines with three different tipped traditional candle kistky, along with enough wax to make a dozen eggs.  If you love to experiment and explore variations with your pysanky, then the "I Love Egging" will be a worthwhile investment.
Here is everything you need to tackle the most intricate designs!
Included:
  • stainless steel tipped Fine, MediumX & Heavy kistka (wax stylus)
  • 13-colour dye kit
  • 2x pure black honeycomb beeswax sheets (22g)
  • "Let's Write a Pysanka" instructional booklet
  • complimentary cleaning wire
**Notes when using Ukrainian EggCessories Dyes:
Cream Soda Pink, Yukon Gold, Cleansing Orange & Cleansing Yellow DO NOT use vinegar. Please leave your eggshell in the dye long enough to get your preferred colour. To get a strong black, you may need to wash back your last dye colour until your eggshell is a nice exposed shell, dip in vinegar for 30 seconds and then put in Orca Black longer than 10 minutes.

SAFETY FIRST
Breathing in or digesting pysanka dye powder can cause extreme abdominal pain and respiratory symptoms, such as a cough, shortness of breath, and a sore throat. Contact with eyes can result in redness and pain, and skin contact may cause redness as well. For arts and crafts purposes only, not food grade.

Due to these concerns, NIOSH suggests preventative measures for those working with acid pysanka dyes, such as protecting the skin with gloves, eyes with eyewear and providing appropriate ventilation while also wearing a N95 mask.
