Due to a drought in Manitoba this past summer, our supplier of organic red wheat kernels has run dry. The great news is that we found an alternative supplier that will provide 900 gram pre-packaged bags of wheat: pshenytsia for your favorite Christmas eve kutia dish. Once it arrives we will post it on our home page.

Pre pandemic, we enjoyed meeting many of our customers at a variety of Ukrainian festivals. For the near future, it looks like many of those events have come to an end or are on hold. As you have probably heard on local news, many popular items sell out quickly and may not be in stock for this Christmas. Some of our items have been affected similarly. Items that we import from Ukraine fall under a different supply chain category, and are affected mainly by labor shortages. Ukraine has been hit hard during the pandemic and  several of our suppliers have disappeared, or have moved out of Ukraine, while others and having production issues with supplies. For customers that have interest in gold and silver Ukrainian style jewelry, you have probably noticed that all items are noted that they are in stock. At this time, most of them are made to order, so they may not be available immediately. We carry over 300 jewelry items, and stocking inventory has become an issue. Apart from a few basic items, all other items are now made to order and could take up to 5 weeks to manufacture. We are accepting orders for all gold and silver items.
