Alex Holub was a well-loved Ukrainian cabaret singer who died at the age of 44 in 1993. Originally from Rivne, Ukraine, he came to the United States in 1981, where he conducted a brief but successful career. He sang a variety of Ukrainian songs, especially those of Volodymyr Ivasiuk, and performed at many Ukrainian events and was also a singer of New York's Ternopil Philharmonic. This CD presents Ukrainian songs performed by Alex Holub. Great recording!
