Motanky

Motanka (rag doll) is a knotted doll made of fabric. The name comes from Ukrainian. reel. It is believed that in ancient times rag dolls performed the function of sacred amulets. Basically, the dolls were intended for play. But there were also those that were used in rituals associated with folk holidays.
