Ukrainian Puzzles, in collaboration with the Prymachenko Family Foundation, has created a series of different puzzles featuring the works of Maria Prymachenko. This puzzle depicts the painting “Kateryna Sings a Song about Ukraine”, created by the artist in 1972.
Maria Prymachenko (12 January 1909 – 18 August 1997) was a Ukrainian painter, who worked in the naïve art style. She worked in painting, embroidery, and ceramics.
Maria Prymachenko is the heart and the armor of Ukrainian art. During her lifetime, she created a new page in the history of Ukrainian cultural heritage and laid the foundations for a better understanding of national identity for the modern generation of Ukrainians.
