Reader 3 encompasses 207 new words. It is to be introduced when the child has mastered orally 700 basic words. This is recommended for use in Grade 3. The workbook aids in the development of word recognition through illustrations, proper usage of familiar words in sentences, and performance of tasks as requested. It reviews the words previously learned.
